Properties of the Superconducting State in Hexagonal BaSn5

The thermodynamic properties of the superconducting state in hexagonal BaSn5 superconductor have been investigated. It has been shown that: (i) the critical value of the Coulomb pseudopotential is equal to 0.152; (ii) the dimensionless ratios: 2Δp≤ft(0)/kBTC, ΔC≤ft(TC)/CN≤ft(TC) and TCCN≤ft(TC)/H2C≤ft(0) are equal to: 3.88, 1.78, and 0.151, respectively; (iii) the ratio of the effective to bare electron mass reaches maximum of 1.96 for T=TC.
