Magnetic Behaviour in CeNiGa2 and Ce2Ni2Ga

The bulk properties of CeNiGa2 and Ce2Νi2Ga were studied by means of magnetic susceptibility, magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements. It was found that CeNiGa2 is an antiferromagnetically ordered dense Kondo system whereas Ce2Ni2Ga exhibits a fluctuating valence behaviour.
