Since the foundation of the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IF PAN) in 1953, semiconductor physics has been its main research activity. This short paper provides lists of (i) organizational milestones of ``Jaszowiec'' and (ii) invited talks presented by physicists of IF PAN at the ``Jaszowiec'' meetings. For a more in-depth discussion covering selected fields of IF PAN's activity and containing references to original papers, readers are delegated to a recent essay completed by the present author for the 100th anniversary of the Polish Physical Society (T.
