A high accuracy polarimetric method was used for measuring the values of the gyration tensor component g11 of Ca3Ga2Ge4O14 for various wavelength of light. A calculation technique based on the polarizability theory of optical activity was applied to determine the dispersion of the optical rotatory power for investigated crystals in a wide spectral region.
