Sputtered Y₃Fe₅O₁₂ Films for Spintronics Application

This paper presents detailed investigation of sputtered Y₃Fe₅O₁₂ (YIG) films dedicated to spintronics devices. YIG films were sputtered on ceramic and glass substrates. Magnetic properties of the developed films were analyzed and compared with magnetic properties of pure YIG crystal. Magnetic properties of YIG film sputtered on ceramic substrates are very similar to measured properties of the reference sample.
