The paper presents magnetic studies of a ring sample made of LaFeCoSi bulk alloy. Magnetic behavior of the sample was investigated in the temperature range covering the Curie temperature of 306 K. Influence of frequency, temperature, and magnetic saturation on dynamic hysteresis loops and magnetic power losses was determined. Magnetic losses separation into components showed that the hysteresis loss component was dominant in the frequency range up to about 1 Hz. The decline of power losses caused by the temperature changes followed similarly like magnetic polarization changes close to the Curie point of LaFeCoSi alloy. |
