In the paper, the novel magnetic composite based on Nd-M-B/(polymeric biomaterial) has been characterized. The composite material is dedicated to applications in magnetic retention systems, therefore typically used binders (e.g. epoxy resin) have been replaced with an acrylate. The characteristics of the magnetic properties have been presented. It has been proved that the replacement of toxic epoxy resin by polymeric biomaterial (based on PMMA) give the ability to use magnetic composite in the finished prosthetic brackets (prosthesis connector).
