Using solution-melt method two single crystals, (Ga70La30)2S300, (Ga69.75La29.75Er0.5)2S300, were grown. The maxima of the luminescent radiation in the photoluminescence spectrum of the (Ga69.75La29.75Er0.5)2S300 single crystal correspond to the intracentric transitions in the erbium ions: 2H11/24I15/2 (525 nm) and 4S3/24I15/2 (545 nm).
