| Polarized absorption and linear dichroism spectra of chromium and manganese doped gallogermanate (Ca3Ga2Ge4O14) crystals were measured and analyzed. Electronic transitions were identified and crystal field parameters have been determined. The value of linear dichroism obtained at the wavelength of 633 nm was compared with polarimetric measuring data for chromium doped Ca3Ga2Ge4O14 crystals. |
