Superconductivity and Magnetism in Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3/YBa2Cu3O7 Superlattices

We report the synthesis and characterization of Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3/YBa2Cu3O7 superlattices. X-ray diffraction studies show that the superlattices are [001] oriented. We observe that the magnetic ground state of Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3 system in a multilayered structure is strongly dependent on the substrate.
