Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents in NaCl:Ca2+ Crystals

Analysis of the thermally stimulated depolarization currents in Ca2+-doped NaCl crystals is carried out by taking into account the presence of the Ca2+-cation vacancy complexes with vacancies in both nearest-neighbourhood and next-nearest neighbourhood position. Relaxation parameters are derived by fitting the experimental data to standard equations. The results are, where possible, compared with the relevant parameters reported in the literature.
